PT Want Want Indonesia is a subsidiary form Want Want Group and Want Want Group is the largest rice cracker manufacturer in the world. Want-Want began operations with I Lan Food Industrial Co. Ltd. Taiwan in May 1962, which manufactured canned agricultural products mainly for export. In 1983, we collaborated with Iwatsuka Confectionery Co. Ltd. (ICCL), one of the leading Japanese rice cracker producers, to jointly develop the rice cracker market in Taiwan. Since 1983, we have been producing and marketing our product under the “Want-Want” brand. We ventured into the PRC and established our first subsidiary in Hunan province in 1962. In the following years, we grow from a pure rice cracker company to a diversified food and beverage company. and currently, our products have spread to more than 56 countries in the world, including Indonesia and other South East Asia countries.
